Congratulations to Mohammad Alghababsheh who won an award at the Brunel Student Employee of the Year awards this Monday at a ceremony attended by the Mayor of Hillingdon.
Mohammad, who is a PhD candidate in the Brunel Operations and Supply Chain Systems Research centre, is an overnight Team Leader within the Library, won an award in the Step Up to Leadership category. We nominated him because of his dedication to ensuring that Brunel students always have a safe, comfortable place to study.
Mohammad took on the role of Team Leader with very little notice, stepping into the breach when another employee left us unexpectedly. He took on his role with enthusiasm and dedication, even helping the day staff to reduce their commitments at a busy period by training new staff on Library systems and procedures.
Mohammad is always reliable and willing to help us- another reason why we’re so proud of him and believe he deserves this award.
