Maggie’s retirement

Last week Maggie had her last day working in the Library.

MAGGEH

Maggie started working at Brunel in 1993, and has seen a lot of change in the Library, and the way university libraries are run, in her time at Brunel.

She originally started working at the Twickenham branch of the university, moving over to the main campus when the Twickenham campus was closed. She’s retiring to spend more time with her family. We’ll all miss Maggie very much.

Maggie’s line manager, Ola, said of Maggie “The unanimous feeling from everyone is that Maggie is a lovely person to work with and has been a great friend and colleague. She is a reliable, responsible, dedicated, hardworking and flexible member of the team and will be really missed by all.”

Sue, Maggie’s co-worker, said ” Maggie is such a lovely person and always willing to help, no matter how busy she is. She has been a great support to me and the Library team over the years, and we will miss her dearly.”
