Subject Librarians – LibChat

SLLsFrom Monday 10 March onwards Subject Librarians will be available to answer queries via LibChat, the library’s online chat service, at certain times each week.

When should I use LibChat?

You can use LibChat if you:

  • have any quick queries about the library
  • are using a resource and want real time assistance while searching
  • want to get in touch to make a further appointment

How do I access LibChat?

You will see LibChat is available via the subject specific library guides. Click on your subject area from the list available at:

Just look for this button  and simply click on it to start chatting.

Can I get any other help?

Subject Librarians are available at the Pod every day to help you Monday-Friday 1pm-5pm (Tuesday and Thursday until 7pm). The Pod is on the ground floor of the library opposite the Computing Support desk near the ASK rooms.
