Celebrate women’s history with free database access

FemaleDid you know today is International Women’s Day? Starting in 1911, the day is held annually to celebrate women’s achievements across the world.

It is also Women’s History Month in America and, to celebrate, the publisher ProQuest is offering free access to The Gerritsen Collection of Aletta H. Jacobs until the end of March. The Gerritsen Collection is a great source for the study of women’s history throughout the world.

In case you missed the announcement on IntraBrunel, there’s also an event at Brunel University on 12 March for staff and students to celebrate International Women’s Day.
