For a while now, the Library has had a Facebook page, and we’ve just added a new feature. It’s an app that you’ll find in the left hand menu of the page, under the profile picture, called “Library Search” (aren’t we imaginative?).
It does what it says on the tin, and plenty more. You can search the catalogue from there, and place holds on items or post about them to various social sites. You can also view your account there, check whether holds (reservations) have become available, look at your due dates and renew items. More features are on their way.
