Today is being marked around the world as Social Media Day, with people coming together at organised events to reflect on the impact of Social Media on our lives. We’ll be posting links to videos and discussions on this through the day, and would be interested to hear your views.
Our own use of Social Media here at the Library has certainly been expanding, with over 1,000 fans on Facebook and over 600 twitter followers, along with a core regular following for this blog. The way we use these is evolving, and will become more prominent with the imminent relaunch of the Library website, so it’s a good opportunity to ask your views - what else would you like to hear about? Are there different applications or services you would find it useful for us to be on?
