From this Sunday the Library will move on to extended hours. On Sunday we will open at 12noon, and will then stay open until 9pm on Friday night. Our Saturday opening hours from October 16th will be 10am – 5pm. These hours will run until 17th December, when there will be changes over the Christmas Vacation, and extended opening will then resume in early January.
As a result of our changes over the summer, we are now able to offer a wider range of services during our extended hours, and you will now be able to return books, pay fines, and collect holds, as well as issuing books using our self service machines. Our team of Extended Hours staff will be available throughout these hours to handle any questions you might have.
Please remember that outside our core hours (8.40am -9pm Mon-Fri, 12noon-5pm Saturdays, 12noon – 7pm Sundays) only Brunel Students and staff are able to access the Library, and whenever you come to the Library you will need to bring your Brunel ID card.
During Extended Hours we are unable to issue day passes and you will be unable to get into the Library without a valid Brunel ID card.
